Our first fall living in Colorado we were antsy to get out and explore. I Googled something along the lines of “best campgrounds in Colorado” and found an absolute gem: Molas Lake Campground. We were lucky enough to see some early snow up high along with fall colors. I also captured one of my all time favorite images (above) right off highway 550 when a brief rain shower sprung up. We also drove part of the Alpine Loop which is where the first few images are from.

Sometimes the best images don’t require miles and miles of hiking - they just require being in the right place at the right time (and keeping your camera handy)!
